Why do people act like this was 1000 years ago?
When I look at her face, I can only imagine what she has been through. PTSD. That white man is probably her rapist. He likely told her she was an ugly heathen that was only 3/5ths human….but he still lusts after her. Perhaps she nursed and raised those two little white girls. She gave them more attention than she was able to give her own kids….if she even got to raise them at all or knows where they are. When the white girls become young white women, they will probably call her “girl” and “nigger” and engage with her as if she herself is a child. The young girls probably thinks she loves them and that they deserve her love. They assume that she is just happy to be there to take care of them. And they all go to church on Sunday.
